I would like to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A GREAT NEW YEAR . Thank you everyone for your continued support thoughout 2007 for I do appreciate all your comments..faves and ivitations :O)

Also I declare that all diets are put on the back burner from the 24th Dec 07 until the 2nd Jan 08..here here !

Back in February (when the world was a lot less crazy), we were wandering around Southbank in Brisbane and came across this "free for all" piano being beautifully played by this young lady. It made us happy indeed. She looks like she was riding past and decided to unleash her talent. There are a few of these "free for alls" around town and what a pleasure they are. Looks like the bench is made for a duo.

Amazing clouds and rain (mostly in the distance) on our drive to Moab. As a self professed “cloud junkie” I was in my happy place.

I got some herbs from the Ithaca Farmer's Market and was planting them in my herb garden and I inadvertently dug this large toad up out of the soil. I moved him over to another part of the garden and he sat there for a while then dug himself back into the soil and disappeared. He didn't look too happy with me.

The wise Bushes. They are still there.

In someones yard.

I've found that lately I've really like kidish photos. So - I decided to do this.

I'm getting bored of indoor shots. But, winter is here and outside is ugly with sad little splotches of snow here and there. 9_9 Hopefully it'll snow more! and very soon so I can go out and take some shots!! :)

EXPLORED

I was inspired by this fantastic photo.

Argh!! I wasn't going to upload this.. but then I was reminded of the purpose of 365 which is to take a shot everyday and learn from what you did right and wrong. And since I don't have time to take another, this will have to do for today. Yes yes, i know its all wrong. Oh well.

I decided to take some advice I got yesterday adn do something with a bit more color. Unfortunately, my wardrobe doesn't consist of much color - so it is a challenge.=P

Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Last week-end I had a brief trip to my home town in Maine. I grew up right across the road (literally) from this famous lighthouse. Many a foggy night I was kept awake for long hours by the blare of the horn, every fifteen seconds.

Despite its tormenting of my sleep, I have often photographed Portland Head Light over the years, but seldom in winter, and seldom in light as nice as last week-end.

...behind me, that many of you have asked is.. "Just how old is this girl?" Well, I've finally decided to answer your question. :) Excited? Probably not, but that's ok. ;-) I'm 16 yrs old and quite content. ^_^

Explored (highest position - 3)

-Day93-

I'm still a little unsure about this photo. I was trying to think up something to do with my age, but failed. =P So, this was one of those last minute shots. Hope you guys like it :)

After 3 long years of hard work designing, redesigning and finally building, we are proud share our 'LEGO StarCraft' collaborative build, which was first shown at Brickworld Chicago.

We had a team of amazing builders from United States, Canada, Belgium and Norway to help to piece this all together. We hope you take a moment to look at all the detail shots, units, battles, and skermishes in the collaboratives group here:

Also don't forget to check out the video on Youtube!

Seriously, it has been a blast working and learning from all of the individuals involved. Without every last one of them, this wouldn't have happened. Thanks again, and we hope you've enjoyed this as much as we have! :D

Fun Facts:

The display is roughly 14 feet long. About 5 more feet than our original plans.

It took a whole day to set up this entire display.

There are far too many parts to count, but the landscape itself, collapsed down, takes up two 1.5 cubic foot boxes.

Not all our builders could make it to Chicago - so contributions were shipped in from San Francisco and as far as Belgium.

The smallest units were always the hardest to design.

The Humble Marine had the most number of design changes over 3 years.

Coots are ultra-aggressively territorial in the breeding season and are known to sometimes fight to the death .

Also, some coots have difficulty feeding a large family of hatchlings, so after about three days they start attacking their own chicks when they beg for food. After a short while, the attacks concentrate on the weaker chicks, who eventually give up begging - and die.

I recently caught this very vicious, territoral scrap on Hesketh Park's lake. (An obvious "grab shot" as you can see)

One of @Instagram's greatest qualities is its community. When Kyle Huber @asenseofhuber invited me to help him launch his #asenseofhuber_freeforall this Friday, I said YES! The selection of photos is excellent. For now, check out #asenseofhuber_freeforall_preview for a sense of awesomeness to come! bit.ly/1eFx1cd

Still feeling uninspired. May have to hit the freeforall circuit soon. There are some fabulous images out there that generous IGers are letting people edit and post. Who are some of your favourite freeforalls that I should check out? #craterlake #oregon #instalumtrip ift.tt/Iy7plN
