In the golden embrace of the setting sun,
We danced upon the waves, free and young,
The ocean whispered tales of days gone by,
As we laughed and played under the twilight sky.
Shadows grew long, yet our spirits soared,
Each ripple a memory, each wave adored,
In the Philippines, where the sea meets the sky,
Our childhood lingers, never to say goodbye.
The horizon glowed, a canvas of dreams,
Painting our youth in amber beams,
And though the night would soon descend,
In the heart's deep sea, those days never end.
- A revisited image reprocessed and cropped without watermarks. It was taken in the Sarangany Bay, on the SW part of Mindanao Island, The Philippines.
As the gentle breeze caresses the tender grass seedlings, they sway in a graceful dance of life. Some will find their life in the fertile soil, while others will drift away into the unknown. But for this fleeting moment, they are all united with a pink hue of love.

A thin layer of sky crowns the hill, adding a touch of tranquility to this picturesque scene

The Cycle of Life: A Trio of Bush Sunflowers at Various Stages”
This image beautifully captures three bush sunflowers, each representing a different stage in their life cycle—from vibrant bloom to wilting and finally to a dried husk. It serves as a poignant reminder of the transient beauty and inevitable end that all living things share.

Picture of a large bowed bronze sculpture, touching the cloudy blue sky, on the border of the waterfront IJ. Location is on the corner of the street Van Diemenstraat and the Silodam.
It seems to me that the bronze sculpture is offering the sky a piece of white cloud. But officially the large bronze sculpture with its many legs expresses a lifted iceberg. Still I like the idea of 'a present to the sky'.
