Male Towhees spend much of their time hopping around in dry leaves, foraging for insects, seeds, and berries. Their warm rufous flanks blend well with the leaf litter, making them hard to spot.

Picture of a large bowed bronze sculpture, touching the cloudy blue sky, on the border of the waterfront IJ. Location is on the corner of the street Van Diemenstraat and the Silodam.
It seems to me that the bronze sculpture is offering the sky a piece of white cloud. But officially the large bronze sculpture with its many legs expresses a lifted iceberg. Still I like the idea of 'a present to the sky'.

A California Scrub Jay perches on the top of a pine tree surveying the terrain for food and predators in the sky. Rich azure blue and gray above, with a clean, pale underside broken up by a blue necklace. In birds, the color blue depends on lighting, so California Scrub-Jays can also look simply dark. Free photo of Amsterdam: picture of buildings at a crossingpoint of Plantage Middenlaan and Roeterstraat ', a picture with light rain in Autumn; it is lunchtime. I like very much how the sky and also the trees are reflected in the asphalt pavement. The Plantage district has rich residential houses, mainly built c. 1900.

Black Sage, scientifically known as Salvia mellifera, is a plant native to the coastal regions of California and is known for its medicinal properties. One interesting medical fact about Black Sage is that it possesses anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. This makes it beneficial for treating skin conditions like acne, dermatitis, and fungal infections such as Athlete’s foot. Additionally, its natural anti-microbial nature supports wound healing by preventing infection and promoting tissue regeneration1. So, not only is Black Sage a beautiful plant, but it also has these wonderful healing properties that have been recognized in traditional medicine.
