The house comprises of three rooms: a home – a mudroom – a home. The walls are framework-based; the four-slope roof is covered with straw, with brushes on its edges and high coping.
Interior of the house is rather traditional. A stove is placed in one of the houses, while the second is “clean” one. The simple benches, cupboards, table, trunk, “dreamer”, perches therein possess their traditional places.
Next to the bench, a potter’s lathe is fixed, for housemaster to make his pieces of pottery. Above the “dreamed” pil, there are shelves (tramky) to dry the pieces before baking.
One room was for the potter’s work, another was a solar. The room is decorated with different fancy bowls, jars, pots, “twins”.
Desolation is the framework for human ignorance that is rampant even in pandemic times.
The human being is the real pandemic ?!

The largest volcanic zone in North America became a national park in 1872. It is named Yellowstone. You can see many geysers created by volcanism around the park. This geyser is one of them. It is named Old Faithful. The building on the right is Old Faithful Inn. It was built in 1904. Considering the time it was built, the spacious atrium and the wooden framework surrounding it are top-notch. I think it is worth visiting the park just to tour it.
One morning we had breakfast at the inn. The moment we were out of the building, a gush of steaming water began. I thought of capturing it reflexively. It was a super wide-angle lens that happened to be attached to my camera. That's why the whole ejection is captured and the building is strangely contorted. Taken in 2014, during another road trip.

A framework of fields and rockwalls stretch across a hillside near the now mostly deserted village of Caldeira do Mosteiro (referred to as just Caldeira) on the west side of Flores Island in the Azores. Several barns are visible in the fields. The village site is to the extreme right and off the photo. On the left side of the photos sharp volcanic rocks jut from the hillside. On the horizon to the left is a summit called Bugio at 591m (1939 ft). To the right lies Mosterio Bay and the Atlantic.
