A cliffside ruin at Canyon de Chelly, Arizona. I had to wait almost one hour for the sun to illuminate the façade, still a somewhat boring shot.

This little girl has been on my wish-list for quite some time. She's very fragile, small, and so cute! <3 She's off to start her new adventures....
Soon.... a name for her will come to mind.. in the mean time she's just Mui_Chan. :D
Fragile Threads
by Victoria Frazior, 1998
Our lives, embroidered into the fabric of time,
Nearly invisible in the length and breadth of space;
We execute our creation, stitch by stitch
Hoping for glory in its making.
We bind our memories, our dreams and our hopes
In tiny fragile threads,
Across the uncertain terrain of our lives.
Together we find courage and strength
To face our task at hand
Seeking solace in our quest
As those who have the eyes to see
And the ears to hear.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes
it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

Fragile frost on the window in the conservatory on Thursday morning, it changed by the minute meaning I took a few too many pictures!

This is quite old as is the next upload as well.
I was waiting on the day to upload it when I had nothing else to take.
Today was a little annoying, I am so glad tomorrow is my Friday!
I need a break from everything!
Oh I sent out the prints today to the winners! sorry that took so long.
I am a terrible procrastinator. :)
My first frozen Bubbles...
Ces bulles si fragiles m'ont fait penser au bonheur.. et à voir le nombre de citations qui le dise.. ce doit être le cas ! Le bonheur est chose fragile !
We are fragile..
No matter how strong we think we are..
We are fragile..
Physically..
Emotionally..
Mentally..
Spiritually..
We are fragile..
Fragile human beings..

I am alone in this world, and yet not alone enough to make each hour holy. I am lowly in the world. and yet not lowly enough for me to be just a thing to you, dark and shrewd. I want my will as it moves toward action. And I want, in those silent, somehow faltering times, to be with someone who knows, or else alone. I want to reflect everything about you, and I never want to be blind or to ancient to keep your profound wavering image with me. I want to unfold, I don't want to be folded anywhere, because there, where I'm folded, I am a lie. - Shiver, Maggie Stiefvater
The state of being fragile is a shade of human emotion the world readily frowns upon. In a society that demands grit and a strong willpower, emotional fragility is doubly magnified when a person is grappling with a major depressive episode.
One way to cope is to identify and avoid triggers--because one tiny prick could lead to emotional hemophilia. People may never understand and tolerate weakness, but sometimes, accepting one’s frailty can be liberating. For it is in this kind of moments that we can find freedom from those which deplete us of joy and peace.

This is a concept I'd LONG been wanting to bring to life--- but alas, my procrastination skills-- coupled with occasional mental inertia-- have always managed to prevent me from getting around to doing it.
And then an unexpected opportunity fell into my lap. And I can never thank enough the motivation and necessary pressure that pushed me to finally create this image.
I had to rush this in hopes it will be included in a group exhibit I've had the wonderful chance to be part of.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if this makes the cut or not. The whole process of shooting, post-processing and making do with what is available is already very rewarding. (of course I wish i could have done it better; the goal was to compose using an overhead perspective-- higher than the one I ended up with--but this is one of those instances my short, short height got in the way.😂)

My thank you to friends and contacts for all your emails and comments. It is good to know that most of us can share the feeling this horrible misdeed has caused, not only in Norway.
Of several shots (one of which I already uploaded) I will upload this photo of asagimadara (lit.pale-blue-spot) to show how the wings are thin. It appears that the shadow of the flower (fujibakama) can be seen through the wings.
“Follow your heart wherever it takes you and be happy. Life is brief and very fragile and only loaned to us for a while. Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is about to happen”.
Your comments are always welcomed and appreciated, but mostly I want to thank you for just taking the time to look.
*please, no invites*
Probably the crowd's favourite moment, the dancers balancing on the JCB buckets as they rose skywards. The dancers had guts to do it.

My first love has always been still life. I like to keep things simple, and share with you the mood. I want you to feel like you're standing in the same light, and experiencing the moment. Completely untouched. It's not just an empty glass after all.
