The weather was incredibly hot, that's probably what attracted them to it. The tiny fragile baby bird laid so delicatly on the pavement, the flies swarmed upon it sucking out every ounce of the life the creature could have had. Saddness. I wondered what might have got the bird here, away from overshaddowing trees, its beak as orange as possibly can be. Baby blackbird I thought to myself, with few feathers unorderly placed over its body. Poor lost life.

Inside the delivery truck, way at the rear, was this package marked "Fragile". Of course it was squashed!
FRAGILE OF SAND DOLLAR
With my delight,
I found a beautiful and tiny
sand dollar shell
in unique colors...
So beautiful, not in its usual white,
my fingers gently picked it up
with awe...
Its beauty -
I see with my own eyes and
sand upon it glistens...
The waves of endless ocean
of the west
came unto the sand as
I softly held it underneath
waves to cleanse sand away from it...
Shocked,
Between my fingers,
it shattered into pieces as
waves took them away,
washing them away...
I stood with one last shard of
a beautiful shell...
I never knew it was so fragile...
It was lost and washed away,
I stood and wondered with awe...

My new analogue project "FRAGILE".
Photos taken in all belgium woods during winter 2011-2012.
Didn't find my place anymore in the city, so i went in the woods to find something i lost in the urban society where a lot of us interact.
And how.
A lot of the drains here go to the ocean.
From a day exploring in Anaheim with Orbitgal. Although I think this was in
Tustin.
This is a short film I created as part of my project' - Fragility'. It continued to focus on the idea that people wear certain masks or persona to the hide the real them.
The film begins with a shot of a smiling, happy face, playful which as the film continues slips away to reveal the real, raw emotions.
The film was my first attempt at filming and is short at 1.16 long but the 'Fragility' theme is something I am wanted to continue with which is why I have included photograph in my 'Found, Scavenged, Upcycled' work.
