Sometimes, one doesn't even have to leave the house to witness an example of nature's processes and events.
Here in Australia, we have the native Lampona sp. white-tail spiders; vagrant hunters often seen within human homes. They primarily eat other spiders that they come across.
Also the well known, non-native Pholcus phalangioides. Commonly known as daddy-long-legs and in some countries as cellar spiders.
I happened to see that a white-tail spider had succumbed to the Pholcus, now neatly wrapped and surrounded in silk.
Spider on spider warfare. Predator and prey. The white-tail lost the battle and ultimately, its life.
Appearances can be deceiving.....Pholcus present as fragile, dainty and ethereal, yet they are determined and proficient hunters.

Soap bubbles are beautiful – and at the same time incredibly fragile.
A single breath is enough, and for a brief moment they float lightly and shimmer through the air.
Yet just as quickly as they appear, they can vanish again.
This is my entry for the first round of the RogueOlympics 2026. The topic was ‘Fragile’ and I used 99 pieces.

This is my daughter again, having fun in lots and lots of those foam chips that they put in parcels with fragile objects. There is some deeper meaning though. She's small, tiny actually. And thin. With such a big heart, which is so easily hurt. She, and her development, *is* fragile.
I haven't been updating this account in some time. Mostly due to an increase in Photography work. Still, this is what I like to do the most: Just goof around.
