Castle Přimda ruins stands on a hill amidst the forrest. It is not such a long and arduous way as myth around the castle suggests (though today nobody will probably try to shoot on you on approach) but the myth is highly suspicious for many reasons. Still, the forrest road can give you plenty opportunities for some nice moody pictures.
The wild Anaga Mountains in the north of Tenerife - those forrests are truly amazing and always worth a visit. Make sure to get your permit early, since they are restricted to 40 permits a day.

I took a trip to "WARD BRIDGE" near "WALKHAMPTON" to capture a river scape, but the conditions were frustrating as the cloud coverage had disappeared and I struggled to get a half decent image, so I packed up my gear and called it a day. Not in me to give up, at the "Walkhampton crossroads" I headed for "Burrator Reservoir", I followed the road around and on the 3rd and final part of the circuit, out of the corner of my left eye I seen this composition straight away. I stopped in my tracks ,rushed up the steep climb to capture this picturesque scene. NOT all was lost after all. A BIG thanks for looking!
As I said before these photos were all done on private land where no members of public are allowed so we put no one else in danger. It had just rained so fires weren't a worry with precautions in place just in case, and our safety was all under control using large fuses and remote control to the camera.

This time we go back to a few weeks ago in January. a few days with lower temperatures and no sun at all we went out for a hike again.
During this hike it stayed dry so we could enjoy some nice time hiking around the Molenveld area.
But even with some grey skies you can get some nice photos.
At that time we still didn't have any snow. While other parts of our little country could enjoy some fresh snow, we only had grey skies during our hike.
But that would change within a few weeks.
Took as usual one of our analog cameras with us. One of our Canon Eos 3 cameras is used again. It still was loaded with some Ilford Delta 100 shot at EI 200 (Expired 06-2019)
Developing is as always done with our Caffenol recipe, Caffenol-C-L at 22c and stand developing for 50 minutes because it was rated at 200 ISO
