This quiet seaside town once housed a cutting-edge motor racing workshop which was frequented by a young Australian who lodged in nearby Telscombe Village. His name was Jack Brabham and he went on to become Formula One World Drivers Champion 1959, 1960 and 1966.

I didn't do a great job with the photo but the garage has long gone, the ground level looks like it's been raised a metre (very odd) and there are retirement flats on the site so no hope of getting the angle just-so. Also, I'm not very good at these things!
