I was out in the yard yesterday and heard a bunch of geese overhead and ran in grabbed my camera and wa la!!! LOL They are pretty slow when they're moving in a formation like this so I was able to get a fairly good shot! Whew...I was hoping to get the entire bunch...never got a shot of this before! lol...have a nice evening everyone! :)

Not a lot to say on this one really, so I’ll just take the opportunity to thank everyone for their likes and comments on the recent images. I don't always have the time to reciprocate, but nevertheless value you taking time to show some appreciation and give me the encouragement to continue sharing my images.

yes, the same exact shot I tried with the other camera! Didn't even move the tripod. Neither is anywhere as good as the Kodachrome shots those National Geographic photographers took in 1948!
In this area, the Javelina clays are all eroded away, revealing the Aguja. It's one of my favorite areas of the northern Chihuahuan Desert. The photo was taken within walking distance to the old Ghost Town of Terlingua.

Seal Rock State Wayside is located south of Newport, Oregon, and features large off-shore rock formations that provide habitat for seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life. The beach includes interesting tidepools as well as excellent ocean views and a sandy beach. The short trail to the beach is steep in areas, but features an ADA accessible viewpoint at the midway point with views of the beach and tidepools. The picnic area near the parking lot is in a pleasant stand of shore pine, spruce and salal.

A flock of Lesser Snow Geese flying in formation. This was taken last spring but I'm hoping to get over to the Fraser Valley again within the next week or so (weather permitting) to see them again in their annual migration.
