I'll probably get shot down for saying this, but I can only describe this place as truly Egglestonian. Quirky and bizarre with overtones of mental illness thrown in. These three photos today tell us something about the person who lives here. The title comes from the almost illegible scrawl on the wall.

As I live in Sweden we are a little behind with the spring flowers than most parts of Europe. Today though I found the first Forget me not in bloom.
"What is it to actually go outside the nest
we have built for ourselves, and earlier
our father's nest: to go into a forest
alone with our eyes open? It's different
when you don't know what's over the hill --
keep the river on your left, then you see
the river on your right. I have simply
forgotten left and right, even up and down,
whirl then sleep on a cloudy day to forget
direction. It is hard to learn how
to be lost after so much training."
- Jim Harrison, from The Theory and Practice of Rivers.
Happy Monday Blues :-)

I was tagged by like 100 people, so here we go:
1. What was the name of the first person you loved?
I guess that was my mother
2. How old were you when you got your first romantic kiss?
I was 12 and it was during a vacation in Spain with a spanish guy... it was so romantic... beach, stars, full moon, palms... *sigh*
3. Who do you love now?
4. Do you have special plans for Valentine's Day?
Phew. It's a bit early for that *lol* next V-day is in like 360 days ;-)
5. How do you show your love for your sweetheart (keep this answer clean)?
Making vegetable soup when he isn't feeling well, writing little love notes and telling him that I'm totally crazy about him (to keep that answer clean *hrhr*)
6. What is your favorite love song?
I'm not into love songs, but I guess it's Alles aus Liebe or maybe Ohne dich They are both German, so if you want something in English I'd go for Dance with my father. Instantly brings tears to my eyes everytime again when I hear the first couple of words. Maybe because I never had a father. But as a girl of the 80ies and 90ies I also love Time of my life *lol* Okay, I just cannot decide for only one :D
7. Who is your love guru (meaning author, television star, or friend)?
My what please?
8. Tell us the best love/dating advice you have ever received?
Whatever you do, just don't fall in love with that fool! *lol*
Oh and I will NOT tag anybody now ;-) I'm just glad I could skip that "take a picture of yourself right now tagging game" *lol*
As always a nice place to be but even for a Monday the crowds started to build so was time to leave.
I am a master of forgetful. My mum used to say "You'd lose yer heid if it wasn't sewn on!" She was probably right. I haven't lost my heid yet, but I've forgotten much more than I've remembered. Now what was I saying???

Thank you very much for your time and for your faves!
(Please, just fave it if you like it!)
Rainfall has landed in L.A basin lately. The showers had washed away many things off the streets. I thought could the memories be perhaps faded away from the rain? The daisies looked much sweeter when decorated with refreshing drops. I guess great memories tend to turn sweeter over time with seasonal change.
Raining days, memories, faded or not, beautiful or not, it's all up to how you see it !!!
To my California friends, please stay warm and dry :-)
A street portrait of a beautiful young lady. She is dressed in yellow and orange and her hair is decorated with an artificial blue flower. May the happiness be with her.

Before the adoption of the poppy, Newfoundlanders used the forget-me-not to remember those killed in war.
A very special little wildflower..
Happy Monday, Flickr friends! :)
E' la notte.
Sempre lei.
