9/11 sunset. Just about every SD landscape photographer has this shot but I got there 2 minutes before I shot this.

Haven't taken many flower images this year as the weather has been so bad. These were growing in our garden in May. They are such dainty little flowers.

Forget this miserable weather, please bring on the heat of summer.

I was starting to forget how to actually take pictures that don't directly relate to my dreary life so thought I'd be a swot today to make up for my reckless weekend.

I'd been away most of the week and was hoping for a good shot of Penny this morning. I was pleasantly surprised when it was foggy, because I love the texture and softness it adds to a shot. By the time I took this one the fog was starting to clear. I did forget though if you want to get a good shot of rays filtering through tree use a low f stop like f22.

As I live in Sweden we are a little behind with the spring flowers than most parts of Europe. Today though I found the first Forget me not in bloom.

I was tagged by like 100 people, so here we go:

1. What was the name of the first person you loved?

I guess that was my mother

2. How old were you when you got your first romantic kiss?

I was 12 and it was during a vacation in Spain with a spanish guy... it was so romantic... beach, stars, full moon, palms... *sigh*

3. Who do you love now?

My Honey

4. Do you have special plans for Valentine's Day?

Phew. It's a bit early for that *lol* next V-day is in like 360 days ;-)

5. How do you show your love for your sweetheart (keep this answer clean)?

Making vegetable soup when he isn't feeling well, writing little love notes and telling him that I'm totally crazy about him (to keep that answer clean *hrhr*)

6. What is your favorite love song?

I'm not into love songs, but I guess it's Alles aus Liebe or maybe Ohne dich They are both German, so if you want something in English I'd go for Dance with my father. Instantly brings tears to my eyes everytime again when I hear the first couple of words. Maybe because I never had a father. But as a girl of the 80ies and 90ies I also love Time of my life *lol* Okay, I just cannot decide for only one :D

7. Who is your love guru (meaning author, television star, or friend)?

My what please?

8. Tell us the best love/dating advice you have ever received?

Whatever you do, just don't fall in love with that fool! *lol*

Oh and I will NOT tag anybody now ;-) I'm just glad I could skip that "take a picture of yourself right now tagging game" *lol*

Forget love-- I'd rather fall in chocolate ! :P

I've been waiting for a few days to take shots of the forget me nots in my garden as it has been too breezy - today was the day!

Rainfall has landed in L.A basin lately. The showers had washed away many things off the streets. I thought could the memories be perhaps faded away from the rain? The daisies looked much sweeter when decorated with refreshing drops. I guess great memories tend to turn sweeter over time with seasonal change.

Raining days, memories, faded or not, beautiful or not, it's all up to how you see it !!!

To my California friends, please stay warm and dry :-)

And I am back. As are the Forget-me-nots. An aptly named flower for my first post in a while.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!
