Surely a less pimped up version with more civilian style colours and liveries would look great in the Matchbox line up. This Hot Wheels Transit Connect isn't too bad with a nice chunky stance and decent graphics, I imagine we will see this in the range at very regular intervals. Mint and boxed.

Sir Lamiel on its way back to the Quorn Station of Great Central Railway, Leicestershire.
I'd seen the tender on the same truck the previous day, but failed to capture it. I only just captured this - a large steam train isn't what you expect to be coming round the corner early in the morning! ...but of course the camera is always near to hand.

Strangely enough, a Ferrari van was once built - and raced...
The Ferrari 250 GT SWB Breadvan is a one-off Ferrari made in 1962 from a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, chassis number 2819 GT. It was built to compete against the new 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other FIA World Sportscar Championship races.
The rear load space capacity is unknown, but it was the fastest red van round the North Circular despite stiff competition from other red vans carrying post.

Some of my earliest lights and sounds diecasts from the very early 1990's were made by Maisto though actually branded as Corgi. Well over 30 years later they continue with the concept and one which hasn't really changed much. You still press down on the roof to activate the noise of a siren and the flashing of the roof mounted lights.
Now called Alarm Busters this range uses much more modern castings such as their Ford Transit Connect and as I bought mine in France its very fitting for it to be wearing a domestic Police Nationale livery. A decent budget casting which has been around for a few years now and is almost unique in this price point and scale in modelling this particular generation Ford Transit Connect.

This is a still from my mate's CCTV in the Aberford area of Leeds on 21/3/18. This distinctive van paid an unwelcome visit, and were stealing anything metal from around the property. The cheeky twats then returned the day after and broke into a vehicle on his drive, stealing several items, including a Range Rover transfer box, from the boot! We've got great images of both occupants should the police ever catch up with them! Any information as to its whereabouts would be greatly appreciated.
