My Wife & I got there after Obama had left today at Patrick Air Force Base. This plane was carrying his wife and children back to Washington DC
Taken on 4-29-11
Using them sweet, sweet new DC CMF parts. Love how this turned out. Expect a number of other new posts soon.
Stanley Ghyll Force, Eskdale, is a 60 foot high waterfall in a dramatic deep and narrow gorge, where rhododendrons on high ledges and precipices give an almost oriental feel to the area.
The summit of Mount Hood prepares for another day. This doughnut cloud evaporated pretty quickly after the sun came up. This shot was taken from the road to Government Camp. Hood is constantly changing......always recreating itself with light and weather.
Low Force is a 5.5m high set of falls in the Tees Valley, England. Further upstream is High Force. Low Force is within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Seen here in full flow after a period of heavy rainfall.

One, two, three, four..
yeah i feel like a force of nature
could make you sing like a bird released
if what you seek is a wise mans treasure
you know it's buried beneath your feet
you know you look like a faded picture
i see the cracks freezing on your skin
and as the world slowly turns it hits ya
that the thieves of the night are coming tol take you in
you're smokin all my stash
but burning all my cash
i bet ya knew right away
it's all over town
as the suns going down
and the days of your easy life
i bet ya knew right away
ya hope ya don't know where it's at
it's all over town
as the suns going down
and it's high time to pray
yeah i feel like a force of nature
could make you sing like a bird released
if what you seek is a wise mans treasure
A snowy scene and black and white are made for each other. All alone on the south side viewing gallery for High Force. Itās nicely railed balcony now, I donāt know when the rails were added but I can remember 20 years they werenāt here it was just an airy perch then. It was a hard trek wading through the snow to get there the only footprints were mine, but I was not quiet alone on the balcony as a tame little robin came to share my lunch, the same robin I bet that did the same trick on Christmas Eve when I was here with the grandchildren.
A welcome visitor to AIRbourne on the Thursday and Friday was this Royal Air Force Airbus Atlas C.1
Calling 'Napier 72' but not being display authorised, this was just an added crowd-pleasing bonus whilst out on a NAVEX from home-base Brize Norton
Here on the Friday ZM407 is caught making a run down the Seafront show-line at 500 feet before making a '180' out to sea and eventually disappearing around Beachy Head

On the Thursday, it was ZM409's turn as 'Napier 71'

So I started playing Force Unleashed for the first time, which I've been wanting to do forever, and I have to say it doesn't disappoint. So I threw together some temporary figs from it.
Vader: gave him ninjago armor.
Rahm Kota: Hair from one of the Hobbit Dwarves, Magneto head, gray beard, Knights Kingdom Tower Guardian torso, CMF Sheriff legs.
Galen/Starkiller: Anakin head (irony) official Starkiller torso (a friend gave me the official fig years ago), one Superboy arm, Cloth leg piece, CMF Space patrol legs.
Juno Eclipse: CW Black Widow head. Imperial officer torso, Batman legs.
PROXY: I almost didn't make this guy cause I couldn't get a good enough combo but this one works well enough. CMF robot head, Ultron jaw, Falcon torso, Cyborg legs.
Maris Brood: Also not the most accurate, but I wanted her in there nonetheless. CMF Spider-dress lady head, reversed Pharaoh's quest torso, Hawkeye legs.
I wanted to make Shaak Tii cause I felt she was important as well but I didn't have the parts to do her justice so I left her out.
Let me know what you think!
And may Carrie Fisher rest in peace.
A series of cascades dropping almost three hundred feet. Not an organised site no money changes hands and if measured top to bottom the longest falls in the Lakes. Taken from Newlands Hause, a pleasant place to park before dropping down to Buttermere or Keswick.
Rainby Force is a serious waterfall situated just down stream from Wain Wath Force on the River Swale near Keld in Swaledale. I managed to photograph the falls after heavy rain in Autumn.
Action Force - Q Force Swordfish,
Manned by Naval Assault and Sonar Officer at the Helm. Sadly missing the rear missile launcher.
Uldale Force hides from obvious view in a rocky bowl and has to be sought out. It is the jewel of a series of waterfalls that feature on the juvenile River Rawthey as it races off Baugh Fell to the gentler flows after Rawthey Bridge. The main fall is a 15m drop but other smaller falls can be found further down stream as well.
