High Force Waterfall
Taken with my Sony 6000, Great little camera. It was raining and there was spray coming from the waterfall, So left my Nikon in the bag. And took some quick shots held my hand against the rock and hoped for the best.

I tried to get out for a Utata Thursday walk but the wind was blowing me over and the hail and rain was biting. I stole some time this morning and it was wild but the tree was stoical as ever.

I love going to "new" waterfalls, the sound and the first glimpse, through the trees is fantastic. Then comes the fun of trying to find the best angles. Scaleber Force is about a hundred yards away from a road and easy to access, down a path, it's probably the most beautiful cascade I've ever visited, did I mention the Midges though?!
"Force" is local dialect for "falls" and does not refer to the power or flow of the river, hence these are the higher (upstream) falls on the upper river Tees.

The Dettifoss waterfall located in the Vatnajokull National Park is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe.
I was able to view the waterfall from the east side which makes it easier to photograph due to the direction fo the spray of the waterfall. Also I think you have a better view from the east side.
