Ko Kret is famous for it's clay pottery.
Wikipedia: Ko Kret is a small island in the Chao Phraya River in Nonthaburi province, Thailand. It is around 3 km (1.9 mi) long and 3 km (1.9 mi) wide with an area of over 4.2 square kilometers. It has seven main villages, the largest and most populous being Ban Mon. The island is best known for Thai-Mon people who make pottery for a living. The island is served by ferries.

As taken, just cropped from the same photo used to create the photo to the right. Also, in the colors rendered by my camera’s ”Auto Picture Style" (in this case, only slightly brighter than "Faithful") and simply converted from RAW to JPG. I found reality to be unbelievably vibrant and the background to be muddy, so I desaturated it for the photo to the right : )
Oh, and the flower was in the shade (muddy background) and I was also using a physical circular polarizer, both of which can increase apparent color intensity.
