Peter tries to help his bear friend Spencer.
Spencer's plants don't get enough water because there's no rain
PETER:
Oleg...look...I'm doing a rain dance...ouch...for Spencer.

OLEG:
Did you hurt yourself?
PETER:
Only my paw hurts a little. I came across something.
And round and round and wheee we go.
I'm singin' in the rain
Just singin' in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at clouds.
So dark up above,
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love......for my princess Rosie
By the way Oleg...I don't need a shower tonight as you see

look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

Waterscape 4 of 100 for 2025.
This massive rock sits proudly in the middle of Deadman's Beach. I've often wondered how it ended up there—what geological forces shaped its journey?
Today, as I looked at the photo, it struck me: the rock resembles a giant bao bun buried in the sand. Naturally, this led me down a rabbit hole exploring the history of bao buns. Originating in Northern China, bao dates back to the Three Kingdoms period in the 3rd century, with some evidence pointing as far back as 400 BC.
And then it all made sense: giant, rock-eating aliens with a penchant for Chinese cuisine must have dropped this here during one of their visits in ancient times. Mystery solved. You're welcome!
Thank you all for the kind likes and comments—they’re always deeply appreciated!
P.S. Speaking of buns, if you’ve got 3 minutes, I recommend this touching animation about motherhood and buns:

I went to look for the chamois again today, and although they showed up they didn’t seem pleased that I had brought my mom along... they made a big show of giving warning calls and sprinting towards cover while not appearing particularly nervous. (They do remind me a bit of cats.) As I didn’t manage to capture their show very well I took a few flower shots instead...

Gerbera L. is a genus of plants in the Asteraceae. It was named in honour of German botanist and medical doctor Traugott Gerber who travelled extensively in Russia and was a friend of Carl Linnaeus.
A neighbor of mine keeps this bike in front of her fence all year. Some years she puts a basket of flowers on the front fender and sometimes not. Even without the basket it was looking especially good this year.

What do I stand for? Am I left am I right?
Am I up and down? Am I east am I west?
Do I wear the crown? Is my creed worth dying for?
What do I live for? Can you tell on my face,
What my heart beats for? Do the words that I speak,
Show it to the core? Does my glow outshine the stars?
Can you see my coat of arms?

This shot is dedicated to my friend and gifted artist Cath, who encourages me daily, laughs at my terrible jokes and forgives my French. She also shares my fondess for a blue and beige colour contrast.
Thanks for viewing my photos, I really appreciate you taking the time, and for the faves and comments you make thank you.
You're right, Mike, the alligator blocking the trail is more impressive photographed with the big lens (at 172mm, 1.6 crop)! Definitely not going to mess with this guy. Elm Lake, Brazos Bend State Park, Needville, Texas.
Something from Iceland again, a jumble of fence posts with a bird on one of them. This is where you find most birds as there are not many trees around.
