Wow, that's a lot of work! Are they all hers ... or has she adopted abandoned ones? Shared parenting?

A poppy is a flowering plant in the subfamily Papaveroideae of the family Papaveraceae. Poppies are herbaceous plants, often grown for their colourful flowers. One species of poppy, Papaver somniferum, is the source of the narcotic drug opium which contains powerful medicinal alkaloids such as morphine and has been used since ancient times as an analgesic and narcotic medicinal and recreational drug. It also produces edible seeds. Following the trench warfare in the poppy fields of Flanders, Belgium during World War I, poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during wartime. Poppies are herbaceous annual, biennial or short-lived perennial plants. Some species are monocarpic, dying after flowering. Poppies can be over a metre tall with flowers up to 15 centimetres across. Flowers of species (not cultivars) have 4 to 6 petals, many stamens forming a conspicuous whorl in the center of the flower and an ovary of from 2 to many fused carpels. The petals are showy, may be of almost any color and some have markings. 17752
The way ahead, following your intuition.
The tricky part is that intuition can be confused with your own Ego.
Your Ego overrules your intuition and says to you, in your thoughts, that you must do the fun stuff you want to do. The "fun" stuff can be bullying others, eat too much, not study when you know you have to, crossing all kind of lines etc.
You'll find all kinds of excuses to do what you want to do, but there might be a lower voice which says Stop, and that is your intuition.
Try to find it, start listening to it. It has many interesting ideas and I for one think our lives can walk on quite different paths than we had imagined if we bring forward our intuition.
If you want something changed in you, like the view you have upon yourself or getting a higher self esteem, losing weight etc, you should start talking to your unconscious mind.
How to do that is pretty simple and awkward or strange, at the same time.
You shall repeat small nice sentences many times a day, talk to yourself repeatedly by using positive words. Your unconscious mind will surrender and start think so too, if you only repeat the positive loaded words.
Why not try it.
We all know how good we are to look in the mirror and say Sh.. how awful I look today. Turn your attitude and say Wow I look fabulous today.
It sure has a nice ring to it, hasn't it, and it works too.
Gee, it became a long blah blah this time♥
A country lane, little more than a trail, extends between the beautiful hills of the Tuscan countryside ...
The RCPE west of Wall crosses and then follows the Cheyenne River through the small town of Wasta, South Dakota before departing the Cheyenne to follow Boxelder Creek west to Rapid City. That stretch of railroad is very scenic and with slow trains many opportunities are available for pretty pictures. Here's one of those a couple miles north of Wasta with the Cheyenne on the right and the bridge in the background. 6/26/2023

When cool nights following on warm days, lots of humidity is condensing in the air, producing dewdrops on all the surfaces. This is happening in meadows and fields too, were in the morning any single plant is covered with tiny little water drops. When the sun is standing high enough, bringing each of these droplets to shine, it looks like millions of diamonds. An absolutely sublime view for early risers, because in a minimum of times the sun is drying off everything again.

Dr Andrew Orr obtained the following information on the Sea Plane which was a Type MF11, register number 346, used by the Norwegian Navy Air Branch. Between 9th April and 7th June, 1940, Norway was at war with Germany and this plane was on operations when it became separated from its squadron at Eidford Voss and ended up in Stonehaven. The pilot was Stein Gustavvson Abildso and the plane touched down in Stonehaven Bay on or about 25th April 1940. This was witnessed by local boy Sam Jolly, who saw it taxi-ing up on to the beach, before it was towed back to the harbour. It stayed only very briefly in Stonehaven before flying on to Helensburgh. In June 1940, a Lieutenant Torstein Diesen, who wanted to continue to fight against the Germans, flew the plane to Finland where it later fell into German hands."
Some further details have come to light courtesy of Alan Stewart of the British Resistance Archive:
"F346, the number of the plane actually arrived on the 25th of April 1940 at Peterhead Harbour a few weeks earlier. It flew from Norway and is detailed in the Press and Journal on 27th of April 1940. The crew members that arrived were Olav Johansen, Stein Abildso and Johannas Storlid. Their photo is in the Press and Journal on the 27th April 1940
The event is also captured in the Peterhead War Diary for the Naval Commander at Peterhead Harbour.
The aircraft never actually fell into German hands, it was flown to Norway and suffered enemy damage before being repaired and flown to Finland since Norway surrendered on 10th of June 1940, where the aircraft flew to Finland. With the intention of having a flight training school there, it didn’t work out so the planes were used by Finland in the war with Russia. The aircraft remained in service until 1948, but chopped up in 1950 as nobody wanted them."
Following on from my Star Wars Day picture yesterday, today we have the Revenge of the 5th!
Come to the Dark Side! We have ... me.
He kept following me around while I was looking for Big Foot in the swamp, saying take my picture, take my picture, so of course I did. They're so cute anyway. I'm sure he was wondering if I wasn't Big Foot and he wanted to remember what I looked like so he could tell his friends about me later.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

For the ones who have been following for a long time, you know how much I like experiencing with blur effect in a natural way, meaning not in photoshop but only by the way I positioned myself. Yesterday I had the chance to photograph this gorgeous Morning Dove at a very close range. It took me at least 45 minutes to get to that range just a bit at a time. She or he was sitting on a log covered by snow and at times, looking for food through the snow. Going through all my images helped me analyzed how I can do it better and found a few things I had not noticed in the past. So in the future, I will position myself that way for a lighter background which gives you the impression of a fog all around the subject. If I had not tried different things, I would have never found this.
Following yesterday's picture, someone challenged me to do something similar but with the wings coming out of the frame too. Not easy because they are translucent, but it is possible if you have the right sort of picture to start with ie without too busy a backdrop.
Following on from Exhibit 5, about 12 shots back, this exhibit is the second final one in the series. If you want more information about the series please see the last 5 shots, where info has been well presented in each one.

While checking on the Swans at Heathdale - Glen Orden Wetlands this morning I spotted a Coot with two juveniles.
As a follow up to to last week, all four of the surviving Swans were in sight.
following a suggestion in a comment for a photo I posted over a year ago, I am re-posting this, in sharpened and intensified colour, and in larger size...improved, I think ! Thanks for the prod, Allan McKenzie!

Following on from my previous image from Robin Hoods bay www.flickr.com/photos/17469730@N00/50979559511/in/album-7... is a shot taken I think a little while later. This area is called the Dock, the sea can come right up here and wipe out the unwary, the cobbles were very slippery as I was trying to shoot some images and capture the light on the cobbles without being wiped out myself.
This is a big family of ducklings. I counted thirteen. They huddled around the mother as she chose her route. I liked the light and shadows in this image. This is the first family I have found on a walk in the Covid-19 period.
