(72/365) I found this tiny Ant mimic fly today on an Ivy leaf, it's body is about 3mm long, about the size of an ant surprisingly enough! Possible ID is Sepsis fulgens. Happy Fly Day Friday!
Hmmm Not sure what this fly is. It was so golden sitting there on the flower.

Happy I was able to capture this Eagle on his fly over. It’s been months since I was able to hang with the wildlife.

An eastern phoebe launches from its perch in pursuit of a fly. This was a lucky shot and not perfectly in focus, but I do admire my flickr friends who manage to catch small birds in flight in perfect focus.

I saw this fly by chance on the kitchen window ledge.
I was lucky to get my camera & take a very few shots.
It was taken hand held. No time for tripod or monopod
& I have shaky hands especially as close as this
