Resting on garden chard in flowerbox. Pasadena, CA,12/7/2010.

Along North Beach Street in Nantucket

Perennial Salvia grows in a flowerbox on our deck railing. The background comes from a piece of artwork we have that's on one of our redwood trees...it's an outdoor piece, and is slowly fading (after 6 years)...this afternoon, as I was trying to figure out where I'd find the next photo of the challenge,

I noticed when I changed positions, the Salvia flowers were directly in front of the artwork...and so VOILA!!

Walking down Veterinärstraße I notice this cool flower boxes.

Sited on the front wall of one of the most attractive extant Post Offices I've ever seen. Full photo of the building is on its way, or I'll link viewers to someone else's photo :-) This was taken with my mobile phone at the time, showing that it works really well in bright light conditions.

This photo was taken in Nevada City, California. A protective surface texture was applied over the 20x30 enlargement eliminating the need for glass as well as adding further to the image’s “feeling” of texture.

Overcrowded, maybe. I think I could've done with 2 fewer plants. One thing I got was a $4 6 pack of little starts (royale chocolate) so that filled it up quite a bit.

A typical home in University City. You'll also see homes like this one in Clayton, Webster Groves and South City.
