I did find this old windwo for $5...and it had the saying on it....as it turns out I love this saying.....How true it is....
Uploaded the D80 shots from Aug 1, now for the P90 shots taken that day.
This shot was taken just north of Millarville. I've driven past this old car at least a dozen times so I figured it was time to stop a get the shot. Sort of an interesting way to use this old relic.
A woman crossed the narrow cobbled street to me as I was photographing this windowbox in Youghal. I thought I was in trouble. But no. She smiled and said that was her auntie's house and that she would be so delighted to hear that a visitor would want to photograph them. I said not only was I photographing them I hoped she wouldn't mind if I showed her wonderful flowerbox to half the world on flickr & facebook. But more than the flowers I wish I could have met the auntie.
Marlboro Court, London - although it's actually Marlborough Court, just off Carnaby Street. However, it looks as though the spelling here has always been 'Marlboro', not least because of the central positioning of the tiles below.

This mamma pigeon has been dutifully sitting on two eggs in this flower box across the street from us for weeks. Last night the people who own the house (but only visit a few times a year) came & scared the bejeebers out of her. Poverina! She's back sitting now...hoping they leave her alone just a little while longer.
Hollyhocks in the early morning sun, the bokeh dancing merrily like little white fairies in the background, the petals glowing like a blightly coloured spotlight announcing the day.
