Just south of Anaehoomalu Bay, I launched my Flowform 16 with way too much fuzzy tail. The winds really couldn't support flying a rig, so I brought it down and took off all but 3m of tail. The winds were still too light, so I wound up packing the whole FF16 away in favor of a 6' rokkaku. The rokkaku flew the camera for the first major part of the hike.

Flowform FF03A built from plans by Harald Prinzler. This is the 1 metre version, about 10 sq ft. Completed 1st May 2006
The light was fading, but I wanted to test it in a strong wind. I was really pleased with the way it flew, but in the gusts it scuttled side to side a bit too much, and on one occasion a side gust caused it to fold. With a large drogue (the only one I had with me) it was fine. I will make some fuzzy tails for KAP use.
For those who've seen some of my other kites, you will notice a common colour theme to recent KAP kites.
