I purchased 2 cheap flow form/parafoil type kites on ebay for $10.50 each the measure about 3ft by 4.5 or so. It is flying much lower than my 12ft delta.

19mph wind today, 48 degrees fahrenheit, it feels like the end of kite season. :(
I thought I would be able to brave out the winter chill, but after 10 minutes on the reel my hands were dead, and it's still fall! In the background you can see the capital, I may crop a close up of it but with 5mp these images can't handle too much cropping.
My GoPro HDHero is connected to some kevlar line on a FlowForm 8 kite with a fuzzy tail.

The light shinning on the kite was an accident (the camera was inside a protective, transparent plastic cover). Do you believe this is some kind of sign? :-)

Harald Prinzler flowform. One of my longest serving kites, I keep trying to keep a limited set on my bike but one look at the wind today and I knew it was a 'Molar' day.

Experiment with a two-kite train, a Fled Mk III flying on top with a Flowform-8 (FF03a) with an auxillary 10 meter flying line, with a small carabiner connected to the main flying line about 15 meters below the Fled.
This combination was chosen because of the different flying angles of both kites, so the flying lines would not get tangled.
The train developed quite a strong pull and a nice 60degrees flying angle, it was able to lift a 1,5l P.E.T bottle filled with water effortlessly (see other pics in this set).
Wind conditions were on the strong side for the Fled (25-28km/h with gusts up to 47km/h). The Fled doesn't like strong winds, causing the it to swing from left to right.
The Fled was flown with a 3m Fuzzy tail, the Flowform had a 5m fuzzy tail.
A more interesting composition (to me anyway) Taken with an Olympus 760SW in a modified Brooks Leffler rig hung from a Flowform 16.

A flowform I made from plans in "Soft Kites and Windsocks" by Jim Rowlands. 1.76M by 0.82M. Creates quite a pull, so much I've not got round to trying it with my camera yet. Photo by my son.
