We had a wonderful time at the Schorndorf VHS making beautiful edelweiss flowers out of natural colors and fine fibers such as Merino wool, kid mohair, and silk caps! The women did a great job and many of them were first time felters! Bravo !!!

Causey Burn, beneath Causey Arch, County Durham. I remain unconvinced about this shot!

Sabine Water Pump Station and Buffalo Bayou Park, Houston, Texas

City of Houston Art Collection

Partly located inside the Houston Sabine Water Pump Station fence and partly outside the fence in Buffalo Bayou Park (and a few hundred feet from the public skateboard park) Open Channel Flow mimics in style and color much, much smaller structures that dot the Pump Station landscape. By using the stainless steel hand-pump one can experience a refreshing “shower” as water rains down from the showerhead 25 feet above. Simultaneously, and as a result of pumping water through the pipes, yellow and blue beacons on top of the 60-foot structure flash, signaling people as far away as downtown that another person has doused themselves with a refreshing, albeit very brief, shower.

I'm still yet to find the right tree in the right conditions for this type of shot but pretty happy with this one :-)

Sunken WW1 German Naval Ships and Block Ships, now the haunt of divers. It was thought that these wrecks would seal off the anchorage but a U-Boat managed to get through in 1939 and torpedoed the British navy which was anchored there. HMS Royal Oak was sunk and is now a designated War Grave so diving is prohibited on the wreck.

2009 Challenger SRT-8 Stack Performance Built. Performance heads, ported intake manifold, SP "Solo" 20" 3-piece forged rims, SP intake, high-rev valve springs, ti-retainers, seats, phenolic spacers, custom paint, Corsa exhaust, long tube headers, high flow mid pipes, wet-tinted side markers & tail lights, tinted windows/sunroof, SP lowering springs, SP Chubby Pro adjustable sway bars, SP short shift rod with Hurst short throw shift assembly, SP fuel door, putting down ~450RWHP.

I called this one "foggy river flow" because there's something about the flow of the ocean on the right that reminds me of the beautiful Hastings river at it's finest.

Opposite Nobby's beach, this little area really does provide some fantastic opportunities for photographers. It takes some doing to get there and trust me I nearly refused to go again given last time I went close to dropping my tripod-mounted camera which I was carrying over my shoulder.

But I'm glad I went and I'm sure I'll visit again.

Enjoy and thanks for looking :-)

In this clip we see the deployment of a coil that can be used to treat abnormal blood flow in a vessel. ⠀

⚠️ Notice that the contrast does not flow normally after coil placement. This is what you would expect to see after successful deployment. ⠀
