It's probably not the smartest idea in the world to try to take photos while crossing 520 in stop and go traffic. But the waves yesterday were some of the biggest I've ever seen crossing the bridge. I was actually surprised the bridge was still open.

On my way back, the traffic was no longer stop and go, although it's also probably not a good idea to try to take photos at 60mph while on 520, and I wanted to capture the line of demarcation the bridge creates. It always amazes me.

Project 365 day 48 : There is something soulful about driving at night, with the oncoming headlights winking at you as if they know some divine secret, and know that you know it too.

If you don't live in the Seattle area, you don't know that either side of this roadway is water, Lake Washington. This is a floating drawbridge. That much more soulful to know you are walking on water.

The Evergreen Point Floating Bridge is the longest floating bridge in the world at 7,578 feet (2,310 meters).(from Wikipedia)
