Thanks for the kind comments.... These islands in Malaysia (my country) are one of the Top 10 Dive sites in the world but also present an amazing opportunity for topside sunset/rise photography. As a city deweller you seldom get views like this but when you do it is a humbling experience to be able to capture it.

The Ear of Dionysius (or Ear of Dionysius) is an artificial cave that is under the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, in a quarry called "latomia of Paradise."

The cave is developed at "S", to 65 meters of path, is nearly 23 m and the width varies from 5 to 11 m he.

It is a tourist destination renowned for its architecture but also for the acoustic sound, very special. It has indeed the ability to amplify sounds up to 16 times.

I took this picture when I went to visit it again with my relatives ...

Some but certainly not all of my favourite mocs/pics from other builders this year. Some mocs may be older but they're included as I only discovered them this year. I'm too lazy to do all of the links to the photos so if you're interested you'll just have to explore my favourites folder :-)

I tend to love the smaller creations rather than massive ones, mocs that can fit into the hand and scenes with atmosphere.

Thanks to all the Lego builders here on Flickr for providing me with yet another year of joy, massive inspiration, fellowship and laughter.

I could easily do another five pages like this one...

Please join the campaign, if you do not like the proposed new flickr layout.

Beta is a test preview of the change that is getting ready to be implemented soon. It can be for a limited group of flickr members, intended to seek feedback and correct faults ( if any), before it is made public.

Change is good and public has always welcomed good changes. The preference for Windows XP by most people even after the introduction of Vista is a classic example of public acceptance. The public liked and preferred the predecessor ( Windows XP ) and the follower ( Windows 7 and Windows 8 ) versions of Vista. A change is good and often gladly welcomed by public, if it provides more utilities and user friendliness, without depriving even a single advantage of the predecessor.

The Beta version is unacceptable to the majority of Flickr users* ( who happened to experience it ) , because it's not user friendly and has only disadvantages to mention. *Please check the Beta feedback : Completed / Top ideas / Hot ideas

The layout itself is a disaster. Please check : Try our new photo experience beta / Comment box

However they try, it's quite evident that it's impossible to provide more space for descriptions, comment box, and comments; not to mention comments with pictures , group invites / awards. The more they try to fix it, the more cumbersome it becomes. The buddy icons now appear as dots making the page more unaesthetic than what you see in the earlier pictures of beta . They are desperately trying to make it appealing and user friendly, which is literally impossible with the proposed layout .

It's a big challenge for the programmers to try find means to provide more space in a vertical column which is already cramped.

VIDEO AT: youtu.be/u5T8JazeSzc

I'm now revisiting a few videos I made en femme not that long ago. This video snapshot is from May 2, 2019. When I previously posted pics for flickr from 2018-19 activity, I often only included here one or just a few snapshots per video taken. But more recently I've gotten into the practice of capturing more worthy video snapshots from individual videos of mine, so I'm doing a *retrospective* series now highlighting some such newly-captured snapshots, of course linking to the original video posted on YouTube.

As usual, I really enjoy color-coordinating attractive/sexy/cute outfits, and this one features:

* a "sugarplum" purple long layered-cut wig, from Forever 21;

* super-sexy Jessica Simpson fuchsia-magenta faux-suede strappy 4.5"-stiletto-heel dress sandals;

* a Thalia Sodi "plum combo" fuchsia-floral-print scuba pencil skirt, from Macy's;

* a B.Wear magenta scoopneck chiffon banded-trim 3/4-sleeves top;

* magenta wide-net fishnet stockings, from WeLoveColors.com, on top of nude ultra-sheer pantyhose;

* a fuchsia/black 2"-wide waist belt, from BeltIsCool.com;

* a magenta-purple handbag;

* a purple floral-print neck scarf;

* a fuchsia/pink necklace;

* fuchsia/pink/purple/gold bracelets; and

* rose gold rings & gold earrings.

This particular pic is a snapshot from a video taken in a ladies changing room at my local Macy's, where I like to utilize their extra mirrors to some effect. The full video (2019-05-02-video2) is posted on my YouTube channel at youtu.be/u5T8JazeSzc. Please check it out and comment/fave here (and/or there) if you like what you see.

More about this and other 2017-19 pics has been written up in my profile or "About" page here on Flickr.

I'm not a fan of the proposed changes. I have tried them. I hoped Flickr would pay more attention to the feedback and respond appropriately, but so far that doesn't appear to be happening. Perhaps this will garner some attention where other methods have failed.

3TEN at Austin City Limits Live

For today's Flickr Friday photo I chose one of me adding spices to a bacon buttermilk dressing that I was preparing for dinner this evening.

All cooks and chefs know that discretion and minimums should be used when using some herbs and spices. Too much can lead to dishes being ruined by being too spicy or having a flavor profile that can be too strong.

Here is the recipe I'm making for dinner this evening and I would love to share it with everybody

Bacon Buttermilk Dressing

6 slices bacon, diced

1 cup Mayonnaise

1 cup buttermilk

2 Tablespoons minced green onions (Scallions)

1 Tablespoon fresh minced chervil (I used dill)

1 Teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1.4 teaspoon of paprika

Dash of Tabasco Sauce

1. Saute the bacon in a skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

2, In a mixing bowl, whisk all the other ingredients together, then add the bacon. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

There is a wide variety of uses for this dressing. I would recommend serving over a spinach salad, serving over sauteed mushrooms or as a dip for buffalo wings.

Tonight, I will be serving this over iceberg lettuce with cherry tomatoes and a little minced shallot. I will also prepare a Cajun chicken breast alongside the salad

Back from my holiday I noticed today that my photos have reached the unbelievable number of 10.000.000 views ... WOW .. a few years ago I haven't thought that this would be possible !

Dear friends and visitors I want to thank you all so much for your support and your really great feedback! Also many thanks for your faves and your wonderful comments!

Please do NOT post your own pictures in my Photostream. I consider this rude and unwelcome.

I have never seen firsthand the kind of reaction which Sebastian provoked as we walked the streets of Stockholm. Everyone looks at him. Sometimes discreetly, sometimes unabashedly; sometimes curiously, sometimes enviously; sometimes derisively, sometimes lustfully (at least that's how I read them), but I didn't see anyone we passed who didn't look at him. I don't mean they saw him: they looked at him. I'm sure beautiful people know nothing else, but there must be a point at which beauty becomes a curse.

This was taken by the Katarina elevator during the day's last few minutes of incredibly pinkish orange sunlight.

"Beauty is indeed a good gift of God; but that the good may not think it a great good, God dispenses it even to the wicked." - St Augustine
