SMU15 #flashbackfriday: On 12 January 2001, we celebrated our very first Patron’s Day by hosting a visit of then President of Singapore and SMU’s first patron, Mr S R Nathan, at our Evans Road campus. Mr Nathan joined SMU students for classes, sampling our integrated curriculum, and ended the day with a session of cake and teh tarik with our faculty and students!
