A deep crater and lake on Nunivak Island, Alaska.
Summer 1991.
There is a legend about this crater that says it has a passage or tube that connects it to the ocean. One elder stated: "Perhaps the ancestors back then were amazed by it. But I don't know for I wasn't there with them."

my grandfather was a boxer, negro leagues baseball player and in latter part of his life ran 3 barber shops
I have amazing memories of sitting in his shops listening to "man talk" about politics, sports, women, Jim Crow etc. I count myself fortunate to receive a "what happens in real life" education at an early age
