I had planned to sit in the Kingfisher hide today so the weather was not going to stop me.
With the awful conditions I decided the only way to salvage the day was some infill flash photography.
Very pleased with the results I was not sure how it would work as this is a first for me.

Practicing using Flash with this camera
This was mom's necklace. The great-grandchildren placed it on her angel tree last year, at The Celebration of Her Life. I think it belongs there every year in memory of what a shining person she was!
🙊Perhaps the last few years have been difficult and to some extent shocking for all of us. Starting with the epidemic and ending with sanctions, we all probably felt it for ourselves. My work has also become harder for me and to some extent more expensive. Sometimes it becomes more difficult to find places for a photo shoot. Many of our clients reject us, preferring other more important activities for them:(

A high-speed water droplet photograph.
Water used: Xanthan gum and food coloring for the drops, along with a little half-and-half, base was plain water.
Figured I'd take my first shot (not out of a shot glass) of whiskey today. Pretty happy with how that turned out.

Personally, I find in myself the traits peculiar to my father and mother. For example, I'm a workaholic like my mom. From my father, I rather got the basics of my behavior. I like to gather some companies of people and have quite a fun time, just like my father did.😁
