By using fill flash, the sun set gave a dramatic effect specially lighting the face with fill in flash
Besides a cropping, this is a completely unmodified photo. The blue/green look was achieved with Photobooth thermal camera effect. Photo taken 4/19/06.
I photographed these succulent flowers while visiting the Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park on our recent visit to Arizona. I think that they're from the pig's ear succulent plant, but I didn't see an identifying sign.
Lighting info: Lit with one YN560-II in an 8.6 inch Lastolite softbox hand-held at camera left. The flash, in manual mode, was triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N. The camera settings that I used eliminated most of the ambient light so that virtually all of the light on the flowers came from the strobe.

Sprotbrough Flash lies in the gorge of the River Don and is a favourite for Yorkshire naturalists.
Our Rating:
This 28 hectare reserve is managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and is located only 1 mile from the A1 (junction 36) just south of Sprotbrough village itself.
The focal point is the lake, however this reserve also includes grassland and woodland that provide habitats for many wildlife species.
Getting there is pretty straight forward by bus, car or even boat should you wish to arrive at Sprotbrough Lock. There are limited car parking spaces on Nursery Lane, however the The Boat Inn kindly caters for those visitors to the Flash who intend to enjoy some food or drink after their walk.
The footpaths are a mixture of public and permissive trails and 0.5 miles of footway are considered wheelchair friendly. Dogs are required to be kept on a lead.

The Black Flash - Death for all speedsters comes on swift red boot's ordinary death can not outrace the speedster, however few speedsters can out race the Black Flash.
Dark Flash-Walter West came from an alternate universe where he wasn't fast enough to save Linda from Kobra. This tragic event shaped him into a much darker flash. With few moral compunctions, a willingness to kill, and nothing left he came to our world.

They can all be screwed together in any order to get a variety of flash heights and the YN BnS flash heads fitted to the end...
Definitely having issues with my fill flash. For some reason it's only lighting the top half of the frame, which happened to look cool for this shot, but absolutely terrible for everything else.
