He now lives on my desk at work.
Flagged 580exii camera left fired using pop up ettl flash.
So he pops the flash and we get a sense of saturated colors.. what stuff would look like if it were a little less grainy. Danae seemed super aware when ever I was shooting and my camera was pointed her way. I had really only met her one time before this.. and we talked a bit about photography on this night.. there always seems to be a good amount of photographer bonding going on.

I took part in the Manchester Weekender 2012 presents All in a Flash - a one day photography exhibition on the 14th october 2012.
Under the guidance of Len Grant, we tried to capture the characters of the Manchester Northern Quarter.
My theme was people at work within the Northern Quarter.
After taking photographs for a couple of hours, we each had a single shot printed out and took part in an exhibition flashmob - best described as a guerilla gallery.
Unfortunately only one shot was printed, so this gallery is an opportunity to say thank you to some of the other people that were kind enough to let me take their photograph.
Which doesn't appear to have a brand? Anyone know about this? Is this like those garbage no-name no-frill 35mms you'd get as a "gift" when you signed up for a bank account in the 90s?

Oly Bella Donna Flash Bayou suffered a broken collar bone at the end of the June 26, 2011 bout between the Bellas and the JBLM Roller Betties. Flash went to the hospital, got x-rays and pain meds and returned to the bout to let everyone know her status. Have you ever seen anyone with a broken collar bone smile like that?! What an amazingly strong gal! We all wish Flash a speedy recovery!

Trying some flash photography. Cut a red solo cup bottom off, put the bottom over flash then, the rest over the other part of the flash. Natural red. no filters!

Carrot carved into a sphere with cloves to resemble the coronavirus. Shot with a .177 caliber air rifle.
Exposure is 1/250,000 second home-brew LED flash. Converted to black and white to enhance contrast.

Pennington Flash is a 70-hectare (170-acre) lake created at the turn of the 20th century by coal mining subsidence, mainly from Bickershaw Colliery. Before the flash the area contained two farms, both of which were abandoned in the early 1900s due to flooding.
During the 1960s and 1970s the idea to convert the flash for recreation was emerging and the country park was opened in 1981.

A geocaching flash mob event happened in the freeeeezing cold. My good geocaching buddies Chuck and Carol are in featured in this pic. Chuck is in the center, his wife Carol to the right. Fun, fun, fun. Husband and kid stayed in the warm car... LOL
