The '59 "Eldorado" looks like a spaceship.. looking straight from the back you may ask yourself where's the front.. probably that's why they added the fishtails.. ?? !! JK.. gotta see it in person! stunning vehicle.

Just as Julie's Snack Bar on Dovercourt Road kept a previous owner's Coca-Cola signage, here on Claremont Street we find another.
While this property had been a grocery store for decades, it now seems to be either a professional concern or a residential space.
Still, the frontage retains the 1958 Coca-Cola Arciform or "Fish Tail" sign containing the previous business name.
The grocery first opened in 1919 by one Louis Cohen and by the time Miguel Melo took over the business in 1967, this store had only three previous owners.

Here's a photo of my old 1960's M65 Fishtail Parka. It keeps me warm on these cold winter's mornings when I ride my Vespa. It is such a versatile, iconic, jacket. It is a bit large for me... I bought it that way so that I could put a suit, or at least a blazer, on underneath and so ride my Vespa to meetings with faculty etc. at the University.

My hair's actually light brown. VIRGIN HAIR (: I have never dyed it, straightened it, highlighted it, or anything.
When we (me and 2 other friends) reached Ghandruk (Nepal) after a 6 hours trek, it was pitch black dark. We had reached our destination but had now clue how the view around us would be.
Come morning and surprise! 6.30AM I walked out the lodge (traditional village home) this was the view outside. Missing to the left is the Annapurna mountains.

As the name implies, the peak of this mountain is shaped like the tail of a fish. Called Machhapuchhure in Nepali, this is one of the top attractions in Pokhara. It is widely believed that this mountain is visible from all windows in Pokhara. The only way to find out is to be in there first.
