There is always something going on at our house bay in the south of Sri Lanka, even if the few tourists at first glance are deceptive. The numerous colourful fishing boats that line the beach offer a visual change. In between, there are always a few fishermen working or local children playing. And at the water's edge, a few tourists are always walking or jogging up and down the beach. Stray dogs scuffle, monkeys climb the palm trees and mangroves, parrots screech and in the evening, when you are waiting on a wobbly chair for the grilled fish, flying foxes fly over the beach. When I compare this with the neighbouring Maldives with its tightly packed bungalow villages, I have the impression that the quality of life here is much better

This is a kind of fishing performance for the tourists in
Inle Lake, Myanmar.
The fishermen can keep good balance on the little wooden boats.

Tarua Beach is currently a potential tourist destination. The beauty of Tarua Island, which rises in the Bay of Bengal in Dhalchar Union under Dakshin Aicha Police Station of Bhola District, is truly eye-catching.
Nature's form is seen here in the play of light and darkness. You will also find a spectacular view of the Red Sun getting lost in the chest of the Red Sea by climbing the stairs in the evening sky. You will also be mesmerized by the incomparable sight of the whole beach being filled with redness.

A tight crop of a fishing boat named HASTE, 'catching' some low in the sky, early evening, golden sunrays.

West Coast Winter
MV HASTE looked to be well equipped and ready to GO FISH
This fishing boat appeared to be moored rather loosely, as she tugged and swayed at the 'end of her rope'
The scenic, Steveston Heritage Fishing Village is a charming & ever so romantic fishing village that is situated in Richmond BC on the Mighty Fraser River
Definitely one of British Columbia's best kept secrets.

Fascinating to watch this Native Hawaiian making his own fishing net.
From my recent Hawaii Archives.
Les filets de pêche colorés se reposent paisiblement, tandis que le port de Toulon flou en arrière-plan, murmure des histoires de la mer.

Colorful fishing nets lie peacefully at rest, while the blurred port of Toulon in the background whispers tales of the sea. Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
