We're crashing
Into the unknown
We're lost in this
But it feels like home
Taking a break from studying...
I watched the Lifehouse concert last night. It was okay but they didn't sing Everything :(
Uhm...this picture is so random, it was raining all day today, it was awesome. I'm probably the only one who opens their windows when it rains. And yeah, Tommy Pickles....haha
The world’s latest wide-body aircraft, Airbus A350 landed in Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest for the first time today.
Lufthansa’s ultra-modern aircraft arrived in the Hungarian capital to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the German airline launching its first regular flight to four CEE cities including Belgrade, Budapest, Bucharest and Zagreb.
Following a tradition of nearly 40 years set by Boeing 737, 747 Jumbo and the world’s largest passenger aircraft Airbus A380, Lufthansa is now the first airline to present the most state-of-the-art passenger plane in the world in Hungary.

1970 First-time with a toy dress-up-kit from Woolworth's. Note the fake eyelashes attached to the pink cateye glasses and the astronaut tee-shirt.
Something new for me today! As part of Emma's celebrations for her birthday we met up this afternoon for something to eat and I popped my proverbial Nando's cherry.
Although it seems to be deeply embedded in popular culture, I'd never been. I'd say Emma's assessment of 'just a small hop away from take away, simple, but really nice' pretty much nailed it. If you like spicy chicken this seems like the place to do it! :)
I know it's a crappy photo but the light was very low and I had to capture the historic moment.
Watching kids ice skate is a nerve wracking business, but no one seems to get badly hurt,,, just a little bruised and very wet.
These humps, they're nothing much to speak of.

For the first time on their lives, This mother and her two daughter had gotten to see the ocean. they were part of a christian mission for poor people from Antananarivo that helps by providing few days of holidays.
The 3 of them had spent all the morning to see the sea and smell the air, happy to feel it in real but afraid to touch the water, even with their feet.

Getting my tag, chip, shirt to run my first ever 5K. On my iPhone, an app by Jeff Galloway training has helped a lot, as has a 12 year based of Jazzercise, especially step circuit, body sculpting, and the fun dance of regular Jazzercise.

I recently got a new Wacom intuos. And though I'm not really a great illustrator or anything I decided to copy a picture of my friend Keri's eye. Trust me, this doesn't even begin to do her justice

TREX 15.2 is an annual, bilateral training exercise that simulates humanitarian assistance and disaster relief missions in the Asia-Pacific region while showcasing the Osprey’s capabilities to the government of Japan and forging a stronger U.S. and Japanese alliance. The exercise also included an HADR training mission, an in-flight demonstration for the Japanese Minister of Defense and additional Japanese politicians, and a static display and press conference for the Japanese media.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Front page for the first time..... yeah thanks to www.flickr.com/photos/labbernatcg for telling me that my photo is in explore front page.
I think. First time making madeleines, I used the classic recipe from Dorie Greenspan's Paris Sweets and mom's ancient madeleine pan.
Several things: one, I underbaked the first batch, not getting that signature brown, lightly crisp edge (oh, and I blame David Lebovitz, but that's different story). Thing two is that, well, it had a really big crumb, like cornbread big. Why is that? It didn't seem right. The recipe seems to line up with all the other classic ones I've seen, so what gives? Thing three is that these needed salt. Thing four (which might relate to thing one) is that I accidentally used a 1/2 tablespoon too much butter.
Finally, I should caveat that this was my first time either baking or, yes, eating a madeleine. I know, I couldn't believe it either.
