I'm thinking of not even repainting this room. I rather like the honeydew.
We are in the process of buying our very first home! It's the first floor of a renovated yellow Victorian built in 1926. It's in Salem, MA and is truly double the size of our current space. Who wants to come to our first party?
We took a run through a local grocery store this afternoon with my new daughter-in-law's parents.
Matthew & Susan, along with Karen and I, filled their cupboards and refrigerator with typical foodstuffs.
We had fun!
On my way out, as Karen was opening the car door, I took this quick grab of Susan as she was going to talk to a neighbor friend.

This was taken from inside the house; the plants are about knee-high. I planted 35 this year, all started indoors from seed. I usually plant 20 or so, but I just couldn't resist planting more this year. Over the winter we ran out of canned tomatoes from last year's garden, so my goal is to increase our stores this year.

Jet spent the past day and a half in the intensive care unit of the veterinary hospital. She has seizures and they got markedly worse this weekend, so she had to be monitored and placed on anti-seizure medication. It will take several weeks for her body to adjust to the meds; until then, she will be Mellow Jet.
I am so glad she's home.
