During Day 1, participants learn the basics of caring for infants and children. This includes holding, feeding, diapering and basic first aid. During Day 2, participants learn how to conduct Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on infants and children. They also learn how to perform back blows and abdominal thrusts should a child in their care start to choke.
