Emma Mae at Schiphol. Minutes later we were outside with Tante Stine and our luggage, it was snowing.
Ilyushin Il-14 (NATO reporting name Crate) was a Soviet twin-engine commercial and military personnel and cargo transport aircraft that first flew in 1950, and entered service in 1954. Il-14 was also manufactured in East Germany by VVB Flugzeugbau (like this model IL-14P), in Czechoslovakia as the Avia 14, and in China under the Chinese designation Y-6. The Il-14 soldiered on in the Soviet Union until the 1980s, and also in other small and poor nations like Cuba and Vietnam. However, the unlicenced Chinese built Y-6 remained in the People's Liberation Army Air Force as a trainer until late 1980s.
10 were operated in Hungary from 1956, two of them by the Hungarian government, eight of them by Malév Hungarian Airlines. The first three of Malév's planes were built in the Soviet Union, with the remaining five Il-14P produced by East Germany. Malév's planes remained operational until 1970, the two planes of the government were retired in 1978. All the Hungarian Il-14 were sold to the Soviet Union for use by the Arctic aviation.
Aviation Museum in Szolnok, Hungary. I drove one hour to the town to visit a modelling show with my two younger kids this Sunday - but since we noticed the airplanes and helicopters behind the fence along the road, we visited this much more exiting museum on our way back, too.
NDK gyártású Il–14P a múzeumban. Az IL–14 (NATO-kódja: Crate) a Szovjetunióban az 1950-es évek elején kifejlesztett kétmotoros, kis hatótávolságú szállÃtó repülÅ‘gép. Az Il–12 továbbfejlesztett, javÃtott változata. Polgári és katonai szállÃtási feladatokra egyaránt alkalmazták. A Szovjetunión kÃvül Csehszlovákiában, a Német Demokratikus Köztársaságban és KÃnában is gyártották. A Malév elsÅ‘ igazi nemzetközi repülésre alkalmas gépei is ilyen tÃpusúak voltak. A Néphadseregnek is voltak ilyen gépei, szám szerint 2.

it's f.u.p.o.m. time, and I took advantage of peter attending by asking him some tips and tricks about flagstone folding. he had just tried this pattern and so we used it as an example.
completing the ring around the first hexagon was tough enough as it is. flagstones are weird...
I tried to extend the pattern by listening to what the paper told me to do.
I tried for some 2 hours or so.
I didn't understand the paper.
I got quite thoroughly frustrated.
back at home before going to bed I tried again. and bit by bit it really started to work.
I was really proud of myself. all the more so on the next day when peter told me that he had convinced himself that it couldn't be done. ha!
I just noticed, though, that I have probably cheated. not on purpose. solely by lack of knowledge. I am sorry!
