Yesterday was quite the day for me. I woke up to above freezing temperatures and went to air Heffala. I didn't realize the front steps were glare ice. I fell the six steps in the front of the house landing on the sidewalk. I took out the railing on the left side. I had a cup of coffee in my hand which ended up on me but Heffala was happy I didn't drop the treats in the other hand. The only reprecussion was a bruised chin and a small one on my arm and a half hour of work putting the railing back into shape.

A winter storm warning was in effect, by noon it was raining and by late afternoon it finally switched to snow. We ended up with 6 to 7 inches. This was the first significant snow of the winter. I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. All the dirty snow was covered! I will need to get someone in to blow snow so we will not go anywhere today.

Heading down Hanley's Piccadilly

A favourite of the Depot Cat, is 30790, a fine machine that has escaped been withdrawn and stood down on various occasions, this vehicle is used on short day boards usually on Service 95, but today escaped on Service 6 from the City to Holt Park, it is not used on School Service contracts due to not having CCTV fitted which is required on these contracts, the old 5610 certainly has a few admirers at Hunslet Park

RSD7 #611 works Santa Fe's First Street Yard in downtown Los Angeles on a late afternoon sometime in mid-1968. 611 was one of a small fleet of high-nose RSD's that Santa Fe fielded, with them mostly assigned to the Los Angeles Div. of the Coast Lines. Other odd-balls in the neighborhood were the HH660's and HH1000's. One of my early views via my trusty Kodak Instamatic.

I think this may be what it looks like if they found out a way to keep you submerged in water during a coma and you just woke up (the title of this pic is ripped from an Explosions In the Sky song).

I have had pretty vivid dreams the past 2 nights, both involving water. Figured this was appropriate. In one of them I was being attacked by alligators. I escaped, don't worry.

The picture above this one is a detail of this shot. I almost went with that as the pic of the day, but chickened out and kept the entire shot. I really loved the detail one though. Just descriptive enough for you to figure out whats happening, but nondescript enough for you to come up with your own scenario.

Could words possibly describe how much I love this dress? Probably not. Frolicking through a field only feels natural with how angelic and sweet it is, and I feel so feminine and fairy-like!

The poor little thing! It was the very first flower on the camellia bush, and was subjected to snow/sleet the very next day, followed by pouring rain. A couple of other blossoms ventured out a few days later to check out the scene!
