Got my very first tattoo today. It's the venus symbol with a bit of a twist. Feminism is something I've been getting in to deep for the past couple of years or so, and this is sort of a tribute to that. My best friend is a huge feminist as well, and she got the same one in the same place. I love it lots.

An early morning drizzle added a few drops to the leaves of the first rhododendron of the Spring.

The bloom was too high off the ground to get a decent image, so I shot it from the second floor stair landing with a longer lens.

I'm old .... and I've been a photographer for a long time .... but today was the first time I ever tried this .... a panorama shot .... I've mostly done portrait photography and for some reason this process never entered my head until last nite when I was reading a review for a simple point and shoot camera ..... I love this for my first try ... I think I'm the last guy on the planet to figure this out .... but it's nice to learn something new ... have no idea why this took me so long ..... now just have to get better at it ....
