Dear Flickr friends, some of you were asking... Yes, this is a real animal! It is a firebug ("Feuerwanze" in German).
Nobody ever carries a fire extinguisher.
The motorist was trying to get the cigarette lighter to work.
So, like an idiot, I walk up to the drivers side window because i hear the the ignition whirring like someone is trying to start the car. You know that sound whera-whera -whera
and I thought I saw someone behind the wheel. A cop comes running down the street
screaming at me "Are you crazy?,get away from that car". I said don't worry its a Ford,
They don't catch fire..They're known for exploding!

Pyrrhocoris apterus (Linnaeus 1758) = Cimex apterus Linnaeus, 1758, le pyrrhocore aptère ou cherche-midi, gendarme, gendarme suisse, soldat, suisse.
The firebug is a common insect of the family Pyrrhocoridae. Easily recognizable due to its striking red and black coloration.
Firebugs generally mate in April and May. Their diet consists primarily of seeds from lime trees and mallows. They can often be found in groups near the base of lime tree trunks, on the sunny side.
I went to the comic book store yesterday and picked up some cool comics, Future State: The Flash 2nd & last issue, Future State: Nightwing, & the first 3 issues of Future State: The Next Batman. I'm really excited that my local comic book store has a sale for $1.50 for every new comic on the rack through Feb. 12th-Feb. 14th. I also got LEGO 71718 NINJAGO Wu's Battle Dragon which I'll probably be showcasing my dresser again after adding the dragon, anyways let's get to it,...

I went exploring today. I've been wanting to go to this abandoned house for a long time and I figured that today was as good as any and I cycled (30km round trip!) just to check it out. At first I was worried that I would get yelled at or possibly even fall through the floor but those fears were dropped as soon as I realized that entire ceiling was moving and filled with bats!!! Needless to say I didn't stay in there as long as I had hoped but I did have fun in my short time there.
The building is from the gold-rush era that swept through the Rocky Mountains. There is a historic ghost town literally 200 metres behind this house but it was too busy to try and shoot photos in. I wish I knew more about the history behind this house but I suppose just being inside is the best I can get.
The post-processing was inspired by forest fires which usually taunt and tarnish the mountains here, but thankfully have been relatively silent.
LL-828 Wildgoose is a corvette designed for patrol and response within a star system. The ship carries a crew of five and can launch four small starfighters (affectionately nicknamed 'Eggs' by their pilots). In addition the nose of the corvette detaches to serve as a shuttle and escape ship.
BUILDER'S NOTES
My largest MOC to date, sitting alongside LL-826 Dragonfly and LL-827 Firebug. The ship is around 60 studs long with a fully detailed interior. Built over the last three months. More photos to follow!
So I did a well deserved edit on the Firefly Figure I got, I edited his legs to have more design, I gave him sone nice wings (even though the variant he's based off doesn't have any, I felt he looked plain without them), and I edited his head, I gave him a head similar to his face revealed on The Batman cartoon, but with some minor burn marks, combining him with his comic/usual look. I really live this edit on him.

Pyrrhocoris apterus (nymphs) these come together for warmth in October and survive the winter because if they are fully formed few succeed.

中部的賞螢聖地 - 東勢林場, 雖然這算是個相當人工復育出來的點, 不過由於園方相當有心, 所以雖然是人工整理出來的螢火蟲繁殖區, 不過整個環境還算營造的有野味, 缺點就是遊客太多了..... ^^"
看昨日的量應該是還沒到達最大值, 不過明後天要下雨了, 一場雨過後三五天理應有機會爆大量! 不過如果是對拍照來說, 現在五六萬隻的量應該已經相當足夠了, 真正達到二三十萬隻的極大量時, 可能肉眼觀看的震撼度會高一點, 對拍照的話, 差別應該不大~ ^^

Alias: Firebug
Joe Rigger or "Firebug" was an explosives technician for Gothcorp. He was in charge of creating, constructing, and testing highly dangerous (and sometimes illegal) explosive and fire-based weapons. He was fired after testing a newly built napalm grenade inside the labs beneath the Gothcorp building. He was eventually kicked out by security after threatening his employer about his firing. Mere months later Rigger attacked the CEO of Gothcorp Harris Boyle at a prestigious party held at Wayne Manor. While much of the major was burned Boyle was unharmed and Rigger was apprehended by the Batman. After escaping incarceration Rigger tried to team up with fellow Gotham criminal Mr. Freeze to bomb the Gothcorp building. He was once again apprehended by police when found limping down the streets of south Gotham with a frozen left leg. Escaping Blackgate once again he works with the Great White Shark and his "Harbor Gang". He also seems to have great disdain for fellow and much more infamous pyrotechnic Garfield Lynns, AKA Firefly.
