The firebug was not originally on the leaf. I drew it with Inkscape and added it to the picture.

Finally was able to finish them all today. Left to Right we have Green and Yellow Ted Carson Firefly, and Regular Ted Carson Firefly. Then Garfield Lynns Firefly. Bridget Pike as Lady Firefly, Harlan Combs as the second Firebug, and finally Rigger as the first.

Garfield Lynns
Pretty much the 2019 one, just with sinestro legs.
Background: Garfield Lynns worked at Gothcorp for years, alongside Victor Fries. He never liked Fries, or the cryogenics lab he was placed in. He always preferred the heat to cold. Years later, development began on the 'Firefly' suit. It is meant to withstand heat, and has flight capabilities, perfect for rescuing people from fires.. Lynns begged to be transferred to the project, seeing this as his chance. Begrudgingly they let the transfer go through. For months, they would work on the suit, with lots of trials and errors. One trial resulted in a fire, that destroyed most of the Gothcorp development building. Most of Garfield's skin was burned during this accident. Though, he was blamed for this blunder, and as a result, was fired. Without a job, Garfield turned to crime to make ends meet. But he couldn't do it as Garfield Lynns. So he worked day in and out, to perfect the Firefly suit. He swears to get revenge on Gothcorp for screwing him over, and other technology empires that are "only about themselves".

Remarkable 16th century botanical calligraphic artwork by two masters of the past: Georg Bocskay (1510–1575), court secretary to Ferdinand I, and Joris Hoefnagel (1542–1601). First created by Georg Bocskay to demonstrated the different styles of calligraphy of the era, the book was later ornamented with intricate fruits, flowers, and insects by Joris Hoefnagel and commissioned by Emperor Rudolph II, Ferdinand’s grandson. A little collection of six-legged things, all from one patch of a few square metres of rough grass on the Polden Ridge, close to Walton Hill car park.
At first I thought this was a firebug, but on closer inspection it's another red-and-black bug. Surprisingly for something so distinctive, it doesn't seem to have a common name.

The firebug is a common insect of the family Pyrrhocoridae, about 1 cm. long. Firebugs generally mate in April and May. Their diet consists primarily of seeds from lime trees and mallows.
They can be seen in tandem formation when mating which can take from 12 hours up to 7 days. The long period of copulating is probably used by the males as a form of ejaculate-guarding under high competition with other males.
