Fire breather, on water. Fun evening was had by all, and everyone walked away with their eyebrows in tact...I think. lol.

Seems apt at the moment with the arctic and the Brazilian rain forests burning, though the original image was a photograph that I took the evening of the day my father died.
I was traveling back from his house in the Barossa Valley to Melbourne, late, so I was near Horsham in the dark when I took this photo of burning-off in fields.
It was dead quiet, I couldn't see anyone at all, no cars, just an incredible sky, the glow of the fire and empty space. It felt profound and beautiful, for that heart-wrenching day of my life.
There 's the guy who was responsible for throwing all the fire crackers on the ground, and he walked very calmly.
Thomàs the Ravenous undulated in a serpentine motion, the twin orbs of fire streaming and illuminating the surrounding area as they orbited around him. The conflict nearby was only so much noise. He transferred both batons to one hand and kept them spinning expertly on long brown fingers as the other slipped down his dark rippled abdomen, already shining with a thin sheen of sweat, and began to work the buckle of his belt open.
Boo "Vwoaah." the cow was mesmerised by the fire. Probably an animal thing! But there was a certain charm to the motions that kept her standing and watching with that keen keen eye: until he started to work his belt buckle. Of course! He was going to strip. The cow gave a slow, slow grin of mischeif!

Since the weather has been getting better in Portland, the fire performers have been showing up at some of the rides/parties. Lucked out with this shot of Michael mid performance.

I meant to look through my photos and add something a bit more cheery and non fire related but my eye kept coming back to this one.
It's just a small flame, with Flood added to make the reflection. The shape makes me think of an angel.
