Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great

Day three in New Orleans was about more sightseeing ... this time using the Big Red Bus for transport, but exploring on our own.
This included going back to the Garden District to walk around a bit more ... including to the famous Lafayette Cemetery ...
This cemetery contains a lot of southern history. I was also shocked to realise how many people died of Yellow Fever in the south ...
This was taken in the evening of the same day that over two hundred people died in the worst bush fires in Australian history. We are 1600 miles east of Melbourne, and our sunsets are not normally this colour, and pictures I’ve seen from more southern parts of New Zealand showed even deeper shades of brown. It must have been one hell of a fire.
