fire dragon- a festival cum 3 day festival below my street. A 50metre long joss stick dragon, started in the 1890s to ward off illness in the precint. The old man here is making fresh hot piping chee chong fun, part of a porridge store below my place which i frequent. it's surrounded by mechanic stores.. and one sleepy morning, i stodd behind him waiting and i jump to see what's on his shirt! the fire dragon!
On the evening of Tuesday 20th August, roughly 1600 hectares of North Majorca went up in flames after somebody was careless with a BBQ. This photograph was taken at 1:30am from our hotel balcony 165 miles away.

Haven't managed to photograph anything this week for the theme, but then after a lovely day weatherwise, we had a gorgeous sunset casting a fiery glow over the wispy clouds. Took time on way home to stop off in Llangollen and get some shots while it was still dusk (ish). Got dark quickly and the welcoming lights of the nearest pub drew us in. Hoping for a roaring fire to warm us up :)
