You may remember the old valve I posted the other day had a light coating of lint on it. It is time to expand on that lint by moving over to where the dryer was plugged in.
The prior owners cut a hole in the exhaust tube for the dryer. Thanks to this hole, lint has covered just about everything in the basement. The one thing I would assume you would want to keep clean is a 220 volt electrical socket. Sadly, the prior owners decided this would make a great lint collector, instead of cleaning it. Somehow, this just screams fire hazard.
Don’t worry; it is now cleaned off ;)
Enjoy!

Day 4 of my 365 day photo challenge. Taken July 10, 2014.
Fire took place on August 14, 2008, very close to where I live. Two firemen where injured in this fire, but thankfully there were no deaths and all residents were able to get out unharmed. This is said to be the worst fire since the loss of the Charleston 9 last summer.
