Approximately 2 and a half months after containment of the Woolsey fire. With less vegetation available rodents have fewer places to hide. Here they seem to have taken advantage of a hole in the cliff face.

Fire in a tyre depot spread to adjoining buildings. Time of call; 0648hrs. Incident went MP4, MP6, MP10 and finally MP14. Crews from Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire in attendance

I went along to an evening on where upon they carry out a test each year with firemen, ambulance crew and police. It was great fun to watch.
Highway 141 fire started Sept. 5, 2012 from unknown causes and burned hard and fast for several days, and crews were mopping up still 2 weeks later. Starting from unknown causes, it burned from Husum nearly to White Salmon in southern Washington, and our amazing firefighters from all over the state kept ALL the homes safe even though several had fire on all four sides at some points, including my brothers house. Nephews and nieces were my heroes as well, digging their own firelines for a few days around local hot spots.

Picture taken during a meeting in Germany, my mate took the pictures since I was the one breathing fire.
I took this on the first night of the 10,000 Lakes festival in 2007. My friends and I were on the road for somewhere around 10 days, we left Ohio 3 days before the gates were set open with the intention of stopping off at as many state parks and random back roads as possible. Oh and we did. 3 nights of sleeping in a car packed with 3 stinky dudes & camping gear, coupled with 4 nights of indulging in the festie atmosphere and a straight 24 hour drive back home made for what was the time of my life!
By late afternoon a large fire breaks out in a factory that stores large quantities of chemicals and projects huge clouds of smoke as firefighters try to extinguish it. At dawn they are still putting it out and 36 hours after the start of the fire, when they have left the place, there are still small spots that continue to burn. The factory is completely destroyed. Yuncos, Toledo, Spain.
