Paradise after the fire has a long recovery. Images of Paradise after the fire. What struck us, besides the gut-wrenching losses for these families, was how the trees whispered a hush of calm beauty. While the ash and bent metal spoke to the extreme heat of the #CampFire. Truck after truck turned into these neighborhoods. Crews check for hazardous material. Other crews work on restoring services. While still more crews remove dangerous trees. Each lot has numerous coded spray painted signs for to the crews yet to come. This community will need support for a long while. Built in 1901 this Shand Mason fire engine was originally owned by Blackburn fire brigade. In 1954 it was acquired by Liverpool Fire Brigade for display purposes and use at shows. It's presently on display at the Museum of Liverpool .

Fire made girl

This is a circle of gasoline set on fire at night.

This was taken on a moonless night. I had a 47 second exposure on f5.6.

I used a flash at the back of the subjects head, then used a red glowing tube and waved it all around the subject.

It makes an amazing effect!

Fire Brigade did an excellent job in controlling this fire half way along Elliman Avenue in Slough. Damping down the adjacent house seem to be a priority as the wind was blowing the intense heat towards the house and the tiles steaming with the heat when water sprayed on them.

It seems to me that the fire looks like a lion. Amazing!!!
