Ever since a downtown high-rise fire where three people were killed the Chicago Fire Department rolls out multiple companies any time there's a call from a high-rise. There was no (or a small) fire because this truck turned around and went home.

Fire Brigade did an excellent job in controlling this fire half way along Elliman Avenue in Slough. Damping down the adjacent house seem to be a priority as the wind was blowing the intense heat towards the house and the tiles steaming with the heat when water sprayed on them.

This fire exit was unreal. A curving slide behind the doors would shoot escapees from the second floor to what we decided was the basement. I wonder if children were able to use this at their own amusement.
