Street in Bologna (September 2018)

Capturing colors and some moments

Wonder where is the inspiration

"I will comb myself into chains

In between the tap dance clan

And your ballerina gang

I have come for the beekeeper

I know you want my

You want my queen

Anything but this

Can you use me instead?"

Tori Amos - The Beekeeper

Bom dia e boa semana a todos. Vejo vocês mais tarde.

CSX Q209-28 is southbound on the Toledo Sub through Columbus Grove, OH. Though I'd gotten one good shot in a window of sun at Deshler I headed south under very mixed skies just to see if I could line up one of the gaps of clear sky with the train. After bailing off Leipsic, Ottawa and some other spots along the way I found a sizeable gap in the clouds near CG that looked like it would hold out and it did. 11/28/2021

I was on a hike with a friend in the Rocky Mountains. While at the top, my friend found the sun.

Clownfish:

Depending on the species, Clownfish are usually yellow, orange, or a reddish or blackish color, and many have white bars or patches. The largest Clownfish can reach a length of six inches.

Clownfish are found in the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, Pacific Ocean, the Great Barrier Reef, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the Indo-Malaysian region.

Clownfish typically live at the bottom of shallow seas in sheltered reefs or in shallow lagoons.

Clownfish and sea anemones have a cooperative relationship, each providing many benefits to the other. The sea anemone protects the Clownfish from predators, as well as providing food through the scraps left from the anemone's meals and occasional dead anemone tentacles, and functions as a safe nest site. In return, the Clownfish defends the anemone from its predators and parasites.

"Stay close to those who sing, tell stories, and enjoy life, and whose eyes sparkle with happiness. Because happiness is contagious and will always manage to find a solution, whereas logic can find only an explanation for the mistake made."

Paulo Coelho

"If we are not happy, if we are not peaceful, we cannot share peace and happiness with others, even those we love, those who live under the same roof. If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace."

The ages soon pass,

Each choice branching limb to limb

– in search of balance.

Finding balance is always a challenge in life. Sometimes, we grow a bit heavy one way, a bit thin another, and sometimes our paths are chopped away completely. This was taken from the Big Oak in Thomasville, GA. The Big Oak dates back to circa 1680, which makes it one of the oldest live oaks in the country.

Wishing everyone a great day ahead. Thanks for favs and kind words. They are much appreciated.

"This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life."

A beautiful monarch butterfly was attracted to the goldenrod in my garden. I was lucky to see it there and capture this shot.

Have a great day folks and Happy Flyday Friday. ;o)

I'm not sure what road He is leading me down at the moment, but I know He will take care of me, so all I have to do is listen and let His love guide me and I know I will be a better person afterwards.

I surrender myself to you Lord... Amen.

Often you don’t know what to do or how to survive. And you are learning to gently push yourself to do difficult things in order to help yourself cope. Thank you for working so hard just to get outside and keep looking for light even if it is mainly at home for now. You are using wisdom in finding balance between pushing yourself in a healthy way and being realistic in doing what is manageable for you right now.

Just a little patch of golden light I found while spending some time outside in our yard a couple weeks ago. Going outside in our yard and “looking for light” is something I frequently do to help myself cope. This is often a big stretch for me and I’m thankful I have the opportunity to do this at home as leaving my home often is extremely challenging for me.

the one i wanted to stage and take today has not worked out,

so i went looking for inspiration ~grin~

Some asked to see this as a primary image when it was a secondary on the life-cycle mosaic, so here it is. Have a lovely Sunday.
