I had the opportunity to shoot with model Amy Wilder and (again) with Thomas Willeford! It was SO much fun! Check out my new blog post for some behind the scenes and a tips on editing different lights colors into your image.

I found this little peanut hidden in one of my planters left by a squirrel hiding nuts for the winter.
Thank you for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated.
The EM34 range finder was an superior range finder used b artillery observers in the German navy and army during the second world war. Trained soldiers could use so good that they almost were guaranteed a direct hit the first time.
I couldn't resist to take a photo of my recently arrived Throwboy pillows. Love 'em :)

Bilbo finds a new toy. Gollum gets all precious about it.
I always felt the One Ring from the official LEGO sets was ridiculously out-of-scale with the mini-figs, so I thought I'd create some that were the right size.
Consider this my contribution to Hobbitmania!

I remember this day quite clearly. Staring through my view finder zoomed in on his eyes. I was at least 50 feet away holding my camera steady just choosing my composition, breathing slowly to keep it all still then,,,"RAAA!!!" he shunts forward and I jolt back almost losing my sh*t man it gave me a fright. But I did click the button before it all happened and it made the few people around me laugh because he was still 50 feet away. Good times:)
There is another great photo of a lion here on Flickr by

When the Exakta worked. Sadly the shutter has since started badly capping, and my second body has locked up . I have no desire to repair them, but I did get some very lovely photos from these cameras.

Weird Wars 2 Showcase
The Path-finder is the 501s favoured tool for dealing with "Zombie" infestations.
This heavily armored mech has a single armament of a swivel mounted flame projector.
It also has a complex sensor array used for the detection and destruction of land mines. Once detected scattershot ball bearings are fired from within the apparatus.
Some have been retro fitted with stretchers to remove casualties from hot zones.
The mech can simply walk through the normally deadly zombies either stomping them or incinerating them as the operator sees fit.
