Ty & Jodi eloped in Vegas a few months back so they threw a party in Vancouver several months later. I took some snapshots. Johnny Wakeham played some tunes. Everyone got drunk, danced and made human pyramids. It was a good time.

Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) yawning. Retima Hippo pool this year was a real cesspool. The water was down and many Hippos were making it filthy. It really stunk. This pool will clean out once the heavy rains come and the circle will start all over again.

I don't like it when my feet are dirty. That is why I get so surprised when I look at them and see them so filthy.

We walked out onto some rocks at the edge of the water in Chek Jawa and put our feet up for a moment.
There was a myriad of tiny life covering the boulders, and Ross pried up what looked like a tiny mussel of some kind. Later he was quite concerned when he put it back and it didn't reattach itself immediately; he monitored it until it was safely stuck and then breathed a sigh of guilty relief.

With a filthy front, 66221 is seen passing Inveresk with the daily Intermodal, 4S99. This fully laden Intermodal is from Tees Dock, and is on its way to Mossend. Seen at 0827 on a cold 27th January 2017

Black shirt, black sweater. Black clothing heavily reflects infrared light causing it to take on a much lighter appearance.
Rodianal 1+50, 68F/20C, 12 minutes. Inversions for first 30 secs then three times at the top of every minute after.
Orbit rolling in the grass and leaves shortly after getting wet, filthy, and covered in some sort of unnatural looking green stuff while playing in a drainage culvert.
